  1. When will the new Titleist T100, T200, T300, 620 MB and 620 CB irons be available to the public and what set of new irons will be comperable to the 718 AP1s. I'm debating about buying a set of 718 AP1 or waiting for the new irons to become available. Thanks.

My only slightly educated guess would be September. Fittings for U500 and U510 irons don't start until August w/ our local rep. I'd guess similarly for the irons.

T300 is the model that is closest to the older AP1 line.

I would think that Titleist usually follows their release schedule of every 2-years, and usually in the fall. They do all the tour testing during the summer and we get all the sneak peaks of it and drool over the new gear.

I would think with the rebranding of the irons, they would follow:

    AP2 - T100
    AP3 - T200
    AP1 - T300

I would think that just because when Titleist released the AP3s, they didn't know how to add it into the current like with the AP2s and AP1s, since the AP3s were a players distance iron. But with the rebranding, they have worked out the numbers and put it where it's a better flow now and makes more sense going from a players iron to a more game improvement iron.

They will be in shops at the end of August. While Samuel has the parallels correct above, Titleist is really trying to avoid the T300 replaces AP1 mindset.

The thought process is this is a new line that should stand on its own versus being tied into AP comparable.
  7. I saw them yesterday at a private golf club and the T100, T200 and T300 are really nice looking. Can’t remember which ones I hit but I think the 200. Really want new irons and just started looking into it. Was told to try the Ap3s by a friend and they felt good. All the clubs I het seemed to have a very high ball flight. Had tried the 300 shafts and kbs I think. Didn’t seem like much difference. Swing speeds are low 80’s with the 7 iron I think. Gotta take some time I guess
  8. Hello. I have a new set of 718's but just hit and did a comparison with Trac man with the new T300 and I ordered a new set of T300's.. The 7 iron averaged 11-13 yards further. Hope this helps. JB
