    I just made the switch from the 913 D3 to the 917 D2. I am keeping the same shaft. Has anyone made the similar jump and if so what did you notice? What are your thoughts on the 917 D2?

    I hit the D2 and D3... I really felt the D3 had a more classic shape that appealed to my eye. I found the D2 too bulky/round to my taste. Both had great adjustability, ball flight, and sound/feel. the D2 is a lot more forgiving than the D3.

    I love my 10.5 917 D2 strong loft and draw weight. Straightest I've ever driven the ball and I'm loving it.

    i have 917 d2 10.5 i'm a little confused on the shaft settings. i would like to lower the lie as much as possible and get the most draw setting possible can someone tell me the setting i should use i am using d2 but i don't feel my lie is flat enough yhanks mike c

    If you are right handed, yes, D2 is as flat and closed as you can get with your club. You might consider swapping out for a 9.5 and also adding a draw-bias weight. Even better would be to have a fitting done where the ideal shaft/head combo can be selected.

    it's nice to have a guy you don't even know or have never met help you with golf problem you are having .i guess that's what the game is all about isn't it. thanks once again and hit'em straight michael c

    It looks like I might be getting a 917 D2 also. I would like to keep everything standard. Is A1 the proper setting and I want the club to sit square. Does it come like that? I prefer not to fool with weights etc. Thanks for the help. Don
