I just purchased a used set of AP! 718 irons that have KBS shafts in them. Do any of you have KBS shafts in your irons and if yes , how do you like them ?

  2. Congrats on your acquisition. KBS makes a variety of quality shafts. it is hard to say what is right for you if you weren't fitted. I preferred some KBS shaft types over others as a matter of feel, but that is completely subjective. I was guided by what felt the best and which objectively performed the best, for my swing. if you have the opportunity to hit yours in front of a fitter with a Trackman that should tell you if those shafts are right for you.

I have the KBS $ Taper shafts in my 718 AP2’s and 3 SM7 wedges. I love them. Great ball flight and very consistent. They help me manage my spin rates as I usually play in windy conditions.

I have also just purchased the AP1 Irons but with (flex shaft)Mitsubishi Tensei Pro Red AMC (Regular), these were recommended after my fitting. If you have not had a fitting I would recommend that first before purchase.
Over the moon with them as it has allowed me to get through the ball and get better flight.
The clubs are great and heads very forgiven. GOOD PURCHASE !!
