I have been playing without lessons since 2008, play Titleist AP1 line 4lyfe, Pro V1x and now just switched from TM to the TS2 Driver with an awesomely forgiving face...Who Knew?

My ball flight start down the left side and at the last 40 yards, pushes gradually left. Sometimes too gradual... ending in a slice. I am guilty of coming over the top and having more an arm swing versus tuning on the ball and i tend to sway away from ball when I am not paying attention.

Any suggestions for driver setting?

I used the fitting guide for my switch from TM to the 917 as well as to my 915 fw. Made worlds of difference and helped me get better fw results. Consult this guide regularly, if you can fo it get fit and then practice as often as you can. Best of luck

Just, tried the TS1 with a 10.5 regular fex and a Fubuki 45 shaft , the pro set me at B-3, was getting around 95 mph swing speed. It was perfect on every swing. I have a 915 with a 10.5 reg flex Diamana 65 mid shaft will i see the same results at the B-3 setting? No worries I'm buying the TS1 soon.

Having settings have the primary benefit of fine-tuning what has been determined to be the correct club and shaft. So it may be beneficial to have a pro look at your swing and club to help find either a swing or club tweak to get the performance you expect.

Under Clubs on the Titleist.com page, going down through drivers or fairways you can find the Sure-fit chart for LH. The stock setting is D4 for left hand as opposed to A1 for RH. The chart orientation is opposite, but moving up or down will still increase/decrease loft. Adding/decreasing the lie is now moving right/left. Adding loft or lie will encourage more of a draw. Adding loft will also close the face at rest that contributes to a draw.

I have a 915D2 9.5 right hand 66 years old 12 handicap what setting will let me work the Prov and Prov1x have tried many settings when I want to fade the ball it go straight left are fade to much to the right. For the draw it go straight right are draw to much to the left. What is your suggestions.

Is this chart just flipped for a lefty? I have the 915 D3 10.5°, 70 stiff shaft, want to drop the height angle by one setting and go to full draw, any info would be appreciated

Thank you for your help. After following your advice i can safely say the A4 setting has achieved above and beyond what i had hoped. Unrecognizibly better ball flight. Couldn't be happier. Amazing ball control. Thanks again.

Don't be afraid to try several settings even if the recommendations from the matrix don't make sense to you. Going left on the chart to the 3 or 2 side may work best for you. Also try A4 and B4. For fun try the extremes of the chart. A3, B4, C1, D2 I have found that with the same head but different shafts the setting that works best is often different. Don't be afraid to try opposite settings to what they say is to happen at those settings. Shaft flex, weight, torque all may be compensated for in part by face angle and lie. Squaring the club at impact for your swing is all that's important. For example, I have had golfers who hit a 15 degree 3 wood noticeably better on the A4 setting than the 16.5 degree head in the A1. I have seen the same thing with a 9.5 915 head at A4 which according to titleist would be 11 degree loft work much better that a 10.5 915 D2 head set at D4 (11.25 degree) with the exact same shaft Once you get where the sweet spot is most people don't change it. I personally have a 913f 15 degree with the diamana S+ stiff shaft that works only on D4. I've tried other settings D3,C3, A4, B4, C4 but D4 is money. Face angle is neutral on the D4 line( D3, C3, D4,C4) and I suspect that that is why all those settings work for me but D4 stands out as a clear favorite. I hit it higher off the deck on D 4 than A4 or B4. Tried the experiment several times and even on course in a practice round. Findings have been reproduced each time. Go play with it. Start with extremes to see the effect. then move to the center as you dial it in. It won't take too long to dial it in.

The shaft you have selected will have a much lower than "normal" ball flight. The combination of XS and the low kick point really is meant for a player that is trying to lower their ball flight. If you really like that shaft and have been properly fitted for it, then go with the D4 setting and see how you like the ball flight.

[/quote] I have changed mine a couple of times. Play with it until you get the desired results. My fitter set me up with the shaft I needed and I do not worry about that. All I am concerned about are the end results. I am very comfortable at C4, but of course everyone is different. As long as I am in the middle of the fairway and I can hit it on occasion with a slight draw, the world is good.

What is the loft on the driver and how much height are you trying to attain? You should have gotten a guide that would enable you to set the different heights that 19Hole is talking about with your driver and wrench. If not go to the top of this page and click on golf clubs and click on drivers and scroll down and until you find the guide. I purchased a 9.5 and moved it up to a 10.25 and it is amazing the amount of loft I get on the ball. I believe my setting is C4, .5 degree open and the accuracy is amazing. Good luck. 19hole has given you some good professional advice.

I've attached the surefit table to give you some help. Not sure if youve seen this. Hope this helps. You could also try to get on a launch monitor and go through the adjustments live to see what setting suits your swing the best. It could also be the shaft as they make a remarkable difference. Good luck, you wont be disappointed with the 915 metals, especially once you get locked in.

D4 will add about 0.75° of loft to the club. You don't say what loft the head is and what loft you played in your old driver. The shafts do play a role in ball height but it is primarily the loft of the club that determines the height of the ball. You can also go to A4 and that will add 1.5° of loft.
