Does everyone else feel like me and white prov’s would be offered in a truvis type marking? I like the look of them on the putting green you can really see how the roll looks. I’m not a huge fan of the ball other than that because it does not have near the performance of prov’s

Also golfdotz could help him out, not sure if they impact performance, never used them.

Just give me a white Pro V1X. Thats all I need for my game.
  5. I’m too old school for that. Heck I haven’t even brought myself to try yellow Pro V1’s yet!
  6. Doug, I am not so sure about the "soccer ball" style, but if it is visibility that you seek, I would strongly encourage you to give the yellow Pro VI a good look. Dale, you too should come on over to the yellow side! It is fabulous.

If referring to the alignment stripes, I'm ok with the Sharpie. The multiple parallel lines would be nice to improve visualization on setup, but they aren't offered on the yellow balls. For the soccer ball markings, supposedly can check spin better, but I can also tell that by the flight. Looks way too distracting on the green to see how well the ball rolls that I do need to check.

I feel the truvis is more of a distraction but I know quite a few people who love them. Myself, I like minimal and simple markings.

Today I played with a couple of guys who play the optic balls and was watching them as they left the tee box. Wanted to see how the flew versus my white Prov1s against these beautiful blue skies along the east coast of South Carolina.
Keeping my white Prov1s. Could not tell a difference as mine flew beautifully thru the sky and landed beautifully in the middle of the fairway. Those optic balls looked like they were on fire. I'm pretty much a traditionalist and have not desire to move over to the dark side. That is why Titleist is such a great ball manufacturer and has so many offerings. Now, if I want a futbol, I will watch the Premier League on the telly. Those golf balls are an optical illusion and personally something I might have used when I played Putt Putt golf back in the 60's. Again, with respect, it is all about choices and sometimes gimmicks. Please say no to gimmicks, Titleist.

  12. This is one way to get the tru-vis but more importantly a cheap why to get my hands on the latest.

Does anyone have any club what the logos are?

    Great for seeing the roll.

Not a fan of the truvis balls.

I still go back and forth with the white ProV1 and the yellow ProV1. I just like the way the yellow ProV1 shows up with my prism sunglasses they pop out on the course.

I played the Truvis for a couple of months, and did actually like them for putting and chipping. I hated hitting them on the tee and in the fairway.
