  1. I'm looking at the New TSI2 driver. What shaft would be most similar to the TM Ventus blue shaft?

  2. None of them. The TM Ventus Blue is not a real deal Ventus - it is the non Velacore shaft made to look like a $400 shaft. But to answer your question the Tensei Raw Blue or the smoke RDX are probably the 2 profile matches (mid launch, mid to low spin) but i would try all of them and see what gives the best performance/feel with that clubhead, if you need higher and lighter go Kurakage, if you need lower and heavier try the Tensei Raw White.

if available, see if you can try that shaft at a fitting. I have a TS2 that I was fitted with the Tensei AV blue 55 stiff, and I also got an extra Kuro Kage 50 regular because I'm getting older. The Tensei was my favorite but I always had a preference for Fujikura shafts and had a chance to try a Ventus Blue 55 regular on a TS2 driver and loved it. Ended up getting the Ventus Blue Velocore 55r tipped 1/2" and playing at 45" and changed the head weight to the red +2. Side by side comparison at a driving range, I got the spin way down and the loft dropped just a bit but big gain in yardage and accuracy. I don't know the difference between the Ventus Velocore and the standard Ventus, and I know everybody's swing is different but if you think the Ventus works for you, I would certainly question the availability.
  5. I have a real aftermarket Ventus shaft for my TS3 & just purchased a new TSI 3- 9* w/ Hzrdus RDX shaft that I was fitted for. The launch of the Hzrdus is slightly lower, however it does spin a little more than the Ventus w/velocore. So it has a very similar overall flight for me. I would watch your spin rates if you are considering the real Ventus shaft as it could drop it below optimal. During my fitting of the TSi3 my launch was 15* and spin was 2400-2600 range, fitter recommended 9* head set to C-1 with Hzrdus RDX shaft

Currently I have a 917 D2 10.5 Driver with an Aldila Rogue 125 MSi 60-3.2 Tour X shaft and I’m going to buy new TSi3, I’d like know what shaft on the market now would give me similar benefits? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
