At a price point and intended audience, the T-300 is the closest alternative - just don't call it the AP1 upgrade. I had little difference with the AP1/AP3 lines at a fitting and haven't bothered with a 5 iron in years. However, the T-300 5 iron is almost too much further than my 6 iron. You can also consider a T-400 but you can't compare Iron numbers since the 400's have such different lofts.
