I have a set of 716 AP2's whch were fitted for me by my local pro then set up by Titleist. They were set at standard lofts two degrees flat shafts 1/4 inch shorter. I've had them for about 18 months so I decided to get them checked so I took them to a qualified fitter who checked every loft & lie, thinking that they would need adjusting they were in fact equally one degree upright on all the lies and all lofts were equally one degree strong. I was told that as everything is equal then that's how they would of been set up originally. It's hard to try and understand but apparently they are set at two degrees flat because that's how Titleist set them up. I could have the lies altered but as I was hitting them ok at the fitting it was recommended to leave them as they are. As far as the lofts go I'm not to bothered as I was thinking of having the set one degree stronger anyway. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar.

I get mine checked and adjusted every 3-4 months. I practice a lot of the mats and forged clubs tend to move. Its likely over the last 18 months you have slowly adjusted your swing and setup as the clubs have moved.
