Max Homa missed a short(ish) putt on the 18th hole meaning he would have to go to a play off with Tony Finau. He made an almost impossible par on the first play-off hole to keep his hopes alive and then pulled off the win on the second play-off hole with a clean stress free par on the 14th at Riviera. With Titleist in his bag throughout, he notches another win this season for Titleist and his first win on the tour. Nice to see the new TSi3 Driver and TSi2 Fairway clubs notching wins already. Can't wait to get my TSi's out on to the course. Come on Spring ......

I thought he was done after he missed that short putt. Good for him for the win though. Takes a lot of control to keep your emotions in tact.

I was rooting for Tony Finau. He has come so close so many times, really nice guy, great golfer, but just can't close the deal.

Quietly and out of the side of the mouth.... Darius, according to Titleist, it's his second win.

You are correct... My error. He won the Wells Fargo Championship in 2019. So both he and Tony Finau were striving for their second win :) Who knows - Maybe Tony will notch his second win later this year. He has been so close on so many occasions.

Homa, who grew up about 30 miles away from The Riv in Valencia, Ca., trusted a Pro V1 golf ball and bag full of Titleist equipment, including a NEW TSi3 driver, Vokey SM8 wedges and a NEW Scotty Cameron Phantom X 11.5 Tour Prototype that he put in the bag last week.
After closing with a 5-under 66 to force the playoff, Homa prevailed on the second extra hole of play to secure the win. “I don’t know if I could ever do anything cooler in golf than this,” said Homa shortly after the victory.

The escape shot from up against the tree on 10 was so clutch under that pressure.
