Team Titleist Invitational?

    Curious if anyone is aware if there is or was a TT invitational in Canada or if its just in the U.S.? Obviously it has been a bit of a wild ride of a year but I was curious.

    Maybe next year? If so, any information on price, registration dates, etc

    I think in the past there may have been a get together in ON at the Canadian open, but nothing big like the US TT event. This year it was announced February 4th I think.

    Are Canadians allowed to participate in the US one? I'd be more than willing to go down there. Although obviously not likely a possibility this year... this Covid guy is a jerk haha

    Absolutely! As I stated below, we have had several Canadians attend every year. Just have to react quickly to the announcements as the spots fill up crazy fast. There are still a few spots for the TT International. I would think getting away from Canada in March to play in the Caribbean might be kind of nice.

    This was also the year that Titleist introduced a new event, the Team Titleist International. It was scheduled for April in Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic. It has been postponed until March 2021 at the same location. I believe the plan is to have one ā€œinternationalā€ event each year and move it around to different locations around the world. My guess is that it would make it to Canada some day. We also have had several Canadians at the TTIā€™s in the USA. We also have a lot of regional events that are organized by TT members like you and me. They will not have the direct organization and backing of Titleist but the Titleist reps usually will help by listing it under their ā€œeventsā€ link and send a few tee gifts for participants.

    With events originally scheduled in May and October for Sand Valley and Bandon Dunes, I was hoping the next major event would be at Cabot Links to complete the cycle of (current) Mike Keiser properties. COVID is definitely impacting options. I miss the days when a trip to Canada was only slightly more difficult than entering New Jersey.

    I brought this up last year, Mitch said he would look into it. I guess it's up to Jason now lol. I thought it would be cool to have it at eagles nest since the Titleist fitting centre is there.

    I'm sure it would sell out very quickly as well.

    I know there is a Canadian Cameron Club tournament that some people do as well. I think its like $500 or something but your fee also gets you a brand new scotty cameron of your choice.

    Team Titleist one would be increddddiibbllleee.

    I am willing to go down to the U.S. also. Be neat to get a group of us Canucks to meet and go.

    Any details on this Cameron Club Tourney? Have not heard of that one before.

    Thought I would chime in what I know but have never been able to attend. The Cameron Collector forum has a huge Canadian contingent. They hold events annually except in 2020. I'm not privy to the actual costs and locations but what I do believe is that the entrance fee DOES NOT get you Scotty Cameron of your choice.

    There are usually special event themed covers available (as a gift or purchase) like the one in my profile pic and see some of the additional theme covers over the years in the photo below. PS: Not my personal collection as I've never attended the event.

    There is a group out west trying to get some Cameron enthusiasts together for a weekend of golf via a FB group.

    Agreed that a Canadian-based TT event would be good those unable to cross the border to have to quarantine for 14 days upon return.
