I know it's been a couple weeks since it QBE Shootout but I liked seeing Lexi Thompson playing out there with the guys. I think it would be cool it every tem was one man on women. Am I alone on this ?

It would be fun. I actually prefer watching women's golf as they play a game I can and should emulate. I'm never going to have a 9 iron from 4 inches of rough come close to 100 yards, let alone 160 like a pro. The one issue they would need to resolve is there is only 4-5 women with Lexi's distance. How would they account for players that only average 255 with driver and not almost 280?

Now if she would only switch to a better ball....

I loved watching the old J.C.Penny team event with one LPGA and one PGA tour player at Innisbrook. I wish they would bring back that event.

Nope! I think that would be fun to watch.. Even some of the PGA players were in awe of Lexi and how well she hit the ball.. I'm sure there's plenty of LPGA players that would love to do this.. I'm with ya..

The Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge was also fun to watch. More ways to integrate the better. Biggest obstacle is the year-round season. Not too many open weeks for these "fun" events.

Hey Todd S, you are certainly not alone on this. I would love to see a tournament like that. With a big purse to draw all of the top notch players.
    Play Well,

An LPGA/PGA team event would be a must-watch TV event especially in the month of December!

I enjoy watching the LPGA and am a big Lexi fan. I think she is the best US ladies player in quite sometime. She has game, guts and a nice demeanor on the course. As for distance off the tee on the LPGA Tour, it's been an issue for years. Remember Vickie Goetze? A wonderful iron and wedge player and a US Woman's Amateur champion. Her problem on the Tour was that she couldn't hit the Driver more than 200 yds.

I try to make it to the annual LPGA event here in Texas and really enjoy watching the women play. They have great tempo thru out the swing. Something every good golfer has or should have. That's why it would be great, as Guy O says, to bring that event back.
