  1. Ok, so we all agree that being fit for our golf clubs is key to a potential better outcome on the golf course, so what about shoes?

Yesterday, we had about 8 golfers that we used in fitting players for which "type" of shoe best fits their swing...Mobile (Freestyle, HyperFlex, etc..) or Structured (DryJoy Tour, Icon, etc..).

At first, I was reluctant to believe that a shoe could make a difference in one's on course performance, however after a few of the golfers I quickly came to the conclusion we all need to fit for shoes! When it was my turn, I hit balls off a mat that measures a variety of factors but I discovered using the technology with the fitter that by using a Mobile Shoe (HyperFlex in my case) I could actually get a slightly faster swing speed and longer drives because I was able to get to my left side quicker compared to my ICON's! I would have never thought this would be true but trackman and the FJ Fitting System prooved it.

It should be rolled out later this year or early next year...when it comes to your area you will NEED to check it out!

I've used the FJ fitting system in Brockton, Mass at their headquarters as part of some testing I was involved with. The data provided can be used to track/compare your weight transfer velocity and timing. This is a cool statistic that can provide valuable information about how the shoes perform for YOU.

I have 5 pairs...Style points count...And found certain rounds were better than others. Staring tracking which rounds are good with what shoe I played to help, every stroke lowered helps!

Can't wait to try it out, if/when a store/course in my area has it.

I have been patiently waiting...I recall seeing advertisements for the FJ fitting system last year.

Well, Chris, you've now taken away about my last assumption of what I can do best on my own for my golf game. Starting with I could teach myself, develop my own workout routine, then you don't need to get fit for hybrids, wedges, putters, balls, ...and now shoes. I'm about down to picking my own glove for personal reasons. And a cap or sun hat - but the doctor is advising the sun.

We should be trying to simplify golf, not make it more complex be convincing peoeple that they now need another piece of specialized equipment to get the most out of their game. All this will do is continue to intimidate new golfers.

Went thru the fitting system at the merchandise show in Orlando last January.
Very accurate for type of shoe. Reminded me of going to sports podiatrist for orthotics and running shoe recommendations back in marathon in days. FJ definitely gets it. I recommend the process to all. Thanks FJ
