Depends on a number of things.

    1. how soon do you need a new wedge?
    2. do you want the latest technology?
    3. do you want to save a few bucks and do not mind last years model?

Me I would get fitted for the latest model...........

If you need them now, SM6. If you can wait until spring, SM7.
  4. Thx I am going to Florida for winter and spring is still way off so I will buy now.

I am in the same boat. I have SM6s, which I absolutely love, but they have had a few too many rounds put on them, let alone tons of practice sessions. Time to replace. Do I go with the same exact thing I have (if it ain't broke, don't fix it), or wait to see what the SM7s are all about?

At this point, though I am still playing 3 or 4 rounds per week here in Maryland, it is basically winter and out-of-season for posting scores, so I guess I can wait a little longer. I'd hate to spend 450 bucks on SM6s, if I can pay the same price for SM7s with even better features (which I'm not quite sure what else Vokey can do to make them any better).
  6. I Love the SM6, but I will replace with the SM7 upon release. At this point, I would wait until March for sure.

In my opinion, I doubt the SM7 is gonna be that much different. Maybe just different grinds. Not much more you can do to the grooves to keep them conforming.

Wedge Works is an option too
  9. This has been very helpful as I play over 200 rounds a year and have to spend pro shop credits before year end, bought yesterday, thx for thoughts very useful.
