  1. I got home from Mexico a couple weeks ago. We stayed in a small town called Ajijic. It was a wonderful experience. We got to experience real Mexican culture as it is not a tourist area. I got to play a very tough little course called Chula Vista and an awesome private course, El Cielo. Having a caddy was a unique experience. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it but after a few holes it was great. The caddies figured out my club selection with two or three holes which I found amazing. Here are a few photos from our trip. In one you'll notice a 'cloud' in the distance....it's actually a cloud of volcanic ash from Colima. Good thing it was far away! My caddy was Mario. He spoke good English and taught golf at Chapala golf club. The last round I played, I noticed our caddies discussing my clubs....they were extremely impressed that I had all Titleist. It was pretty neat to listen to them.....I couldn't understand most of what they said but I heard a lot of 'titleist' and 'AP1'.

Thanks for sharing your pics Wendy ! Was this your first experience with using a caddie ? I always like using a caddie when I am playing one of the TPC or equivalent courses. As you noted, it is really amazing how quickly they can hone in on your game and start making suggestions on the club and type of shot you need to get the ball in the right place for making a good score.
Glad you enjoyed your trip. Time to start warming up for the season here in Ontario !!!!!
  4. Darius, yes it was a first. I had four different caddies and each one was amazing.
  5. A few more photos...
