Stay a night at Bay Hill and play there. We play a lot at Grand Cypress (North/South combination), Magnolia at Disney, Champions Gate International and Tranquillo are all great.

If you are there between the 24th and the 29th expect a lot of play, that is PGA Show week.
  3. Definitely Bay Hill! Disney, Champions Gate and Orange County National are great!
  4. Grand Cypress, Champions Gate, and the Ritz Carlton. Played Magnolia last year and was not impressed with the course or condition it was in. Celebration is another course you may want to try.

The group I travel with really enjoy playing Championsgate C.C., Tranquilo, Southern Dunes, Disney Palm and Mission Inn. Southern Dunes and Mission Inn both have elevation changes that are not typical for Florida golf courses. Hope you have a great time!

Headed to Orlando myself Sunday 1/22. Plan on playing Waldorf, Grand Cypress, Disney, Reunion and hopefully Tranquilo. I have played all of these in the past other then Tranquilo and they are all usually in great shape!

I played Disneys Lake Buena Vista a couple of years ago. It was a nice course.
  8. I was just on a golf trip in the Orlando area last week. Celebration is always nice. For a little challenge and unique golf experience try Bella Collina. If your looking for a cheaper option head down to Providence golf club. The greens there are in great shape right now. Orange County national is also a great test.

    1) Tranquilo (just hosted the Diamond Invitational, perfect greens)
    2) Orange County National (Q School) Play the Panther...
    3) Waldorf Astoria (course conditions here have been awesome for months)

and if your from out of state and don't mind 1 1/2 drive Streamsong (RED) is a must.

Can't go wrong at Orange County National and Grand Cypress. Personally I wasn't a fan of either ChampionsGate courses.

Played Champions Gate International in November. Enjoyed the layout but greens were a little firm for me.
  12. Just played 5 rounds on Waldorf Astoria few weeks ago in great condition in the winter they do keep fairways soft and greens a little slow for all the snowbirds !
