With precision ball-striking and total confidence on the greens, Titleist Brand Ambassador Michael Brennan charged into the FedExCup Playoffs with his second PGA TOUR victory, playing the weekend in 13 under (63-64) to win by three shots.
- Gaming a Pro V1 golf ball and a full bag of Titleist equipment, Brennan combined +8.772 strokes gained tee to green (5th) with another +8.690 strokes gained on the greens (2nd) to finish the week with a field-best 25 birdies and an eagle.
- He punctuated the victory with a final birdie on the 72nd hole, rolling in his Pro V1 from 13 feet, 2 inches, with his Scotty Cameron putter.
- On a pressure-packed Sunday, no one hit it closer to the hole than Brennan, who led the field in Proximity to Hole, averaging 18 feet, 4 inches.
- That included four approaches within 9 feet during his five straight birdies from Nos. 4 through 8 on the front nine Sunday, including his tee shot on the par-3 6th which finished 6 inches from the hole:
- No. 4: 8 feet, 1 inch. (106 yards)
- No. 5: 13 feet, 1 inch (176 yards)
- No. 6: 8 feet, 11 inches (165 yards)
- No. 7: 6 inches (211 yards)
- No. 8: 6 feet, 8 inches (107 yards)
- For the week, Brennan hit 83% GIR, gaining +5.066 shots on approach.
- Brennan, who jumped to 47th in the final regular season FedExCup Standings, also led a 1-2-3 finish for players gaming Titleist golf balls, drivers, irons and wedges.
- Titleist Brand Ambassador Beau Hossler finished second at 19 under, while Titleist Brand Ambassador Ben James finished in third, another shot back.
- Both players tied for the week’s lowest round (61), Hossler on Thursday and James on Sunday.
- Titleist was the overwhelming #1 ball (76%) at the PGA TOUR’s regular season finale with 111 players teeing up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than 10 times the nearest competitor (11).
- Titleist was also the most played driver (46%), iron (41%) wedge (56%) and putter (31%).

BRENNAN ON HIS PRO V1 GOLF BALL
- A longtime Pro V1 player, Michael Brennan was among the 76% of players who teed up a Titleist golf ball this week in Greensboro, leading a 1-2-3 finish for Titleist golf ball players:
- It’s the 23rd win for players gaming a Titleist golf ball on the PGA TOUR season, compared to four for the nearest competitor.
- Brennan on his Pro V1 golf ball:
- “For me, too much spin is more of an issue than too little spin. So that's one of the reasons I play the V1 instead of the X is to drop spin with the long irons and the driver.”
- “If the ball's not spinning right or inconsistently, then doesn't matter what you do. It's just hard... I feel like if your irons are not spinning in the right windows, then it just is really hard to score if your distances get off and stuff like that. So I feel like that probably would be number one (priority) for me. Number two would be feel around the greens. I don't want to hit a 40 yarder that feels like it comes out knuckly and firm because that's just not a good feel. So that would probably be number two. And then number three would be driver spin. The driver’s important because I drive it well, but I also feel like it’s pretty easy to configure a driver to kind of work around something like that.”
- “I love the feel of the Pro V1, probably because I’ve just been playing it for so long. It’s softer than the X. So to me, I’ve kind of gotten accustomed to that soft feel. And I think around the greens, the softness is huge for me. It doesn’t feel clicky at all. I just feel like the club really grips on and grabs the ball. And so that’s kind of what I'm looking for when I’m hitting pitch shots and short little wedge shots around the green.”
ANOTHER WIN FOR TITLEIST DRIVER PLAYERS; BRENNAN WINS WITH NEW GTS FAIRWAYS
- On Thursday at the Wyndham Championship, 68 players teed off with a Titleist driver — 46% of the field and 32 more than the nearest competitor.
- That group includes Michael Brennan, who on Sunday closed out the PGA TOUR’s regular season with the 14th victory for Titleist driver players so far in 2026.
- In Brennan’s bag this week was his 9-degree GT3 gamer as well as a NEW 15-degree GTS prototype 3-wood and 21-degree GTS3 7-wood, a metalwood setup that helped him gain +4.856 strokes off the tee (3rd) over four rounds at Sedgefield Country Club.

- The now two-time TOUR winner has had an exceptional season of driving the ball, as he ranks second on TOUR in SG: Off-the-Tee (+0.674 average) and second in Driving Distance (326.3 yards).
- According to Titleist Tour Rep Nick Geyer, Brennan likes to hit several different kinds of shots with his GT3, varying trajectories and adjusting tee height as he sees fit.
- The GT3 has given him the perfect blend of speed and workability without sacrificing forgiveness, unlocking all the shots he needs out on the course.
- Just over nine months ago, in his first PGA TOUR start as a professional, Brennan captured his maiden TOUR win while gaming the same driver setup.
- His performance that week marked the PGA TOUR’s best driving performance of 2025, as he gained +7.614 strokes on the field off the tee.
- The Wake Forest alum’s NEW GTS fairways were dialed in this week as well, both of which went into play for the first time at the Charles Schwab Challenge.
- Brennan found that both models helped eliminate a left miss, and he loved the look at the address.
- On Sunday, he striped his final tee shot of the week down the middle of the fairway with his 3-wood, leaving no doubt and setting up one last birdie.
- It’s the second win in three weeks for the GTS 3W prototype fairway, which was also in Jackson Koivun's, bag for his debut win at the 3M Open.
- Brennan’s NEW GTS3 7 wood model has also found the winner’s circle multiple times in 2026 with victories from Cameron Young (Cadillac Championship) and Russell Henley (Charles Schwab Challenge).
- The GTS3 7-wood occupies a brand-new position in Titleist’s metalwood lineup, as prior generation ‘3’ fairway models were not available in lofts higher than 18 degrees.
BRENNAN WINS AGAIN WITH BLENDED SET OF TITLEIST IRONS
- Of the Titleist Brand Ambassadors currently playing on the PGA TOUR, approximately 80 percent are playing blended sets of at least two Titleist iron models, demonstrating the importance of custom fitting and optimization throughout the bag.
- Among those players is Michael Brennan, who won on Sunday with a blended set of T100 long irons and 620 CB short irons — a setup that combines precision-focused scoring irons with more forgiving and higher-launching long irons.

- Brennan, who had played the narrower, lower-bounce T Grind last week in Detroit, wanted to test some options that would perform well on the difficult greenside conditions this week.
- The 60.08M ended up producing better contact off the grainy Bermuda grass, which helped minimize potential misses and instill more confidence, helping him rank T16 for the week in Scrambling after getting up-and-down for par on 12 of 18 attempts (67%).
BRENNAN ROLLING WITH SCOTTY CAMERON GOLO MID-MALLET PUTTER
- Michael Brennan had it rolling on the greens this week with his Scotty Cameron Super Select GOLO 6 tour prototype putter.
- He gained nearly nine shots on the field with his putting (+8.958), good for second in the field, led in Feet of Putts Made (443 feet, 10 inches) and ranked T2 in Putts per GIR (1.63).
- He gained a career-best +3.201 strokes putting in Round 2 and then bettered it in Round 3 with +3.201.
- Having previously played — and won with — a Phantom 7.2 tour prototype, Brennan was looking to switch things up on the greens earlier this season.
- He switched to his current gamer at the Valspar Championship in March after being drawn to the softer, rounder GOLO shape and the way his new gamer swung.
KORN FERRY TOUR | Pinnacle Bank Championship
In just his sixth career Korn Ferry Tour start, Titleist Brand Ambassador and PGA TOUR University alum Frankie Harris closed in 12-under 59 to storm up the leaderboard before winning in extra holes.
- Harris’ spectacular sub-60 round featured 10 birdies, an eagle and zero dropped shots.
- He played his final seven holes in 7 under to come home in 27 and post 22 under for the week.
- He gained +4.852 strokes tee to green in his final round alone, including +3.335 on approach with a field-best Proximity of 20 feet, 9 inches.
- Playing behind Harris was Alistair Docherty (Pro V1), who matched Harris’ 72-hole total by birdieing each of the last four holes of regulation.
- The 23-year-old Harris prevailed on the second playoff hole with a par, earning his first career Korn Ferry Tour title.
- For the week in Omaha, Harris gained over 3.5 shots on the field off the tee (+3.761, 9th) and over 5.5 shots with his approach play (+5.544, 7th).
- He made 25 birdies and two eagles over the four rounds.
- He is projected to climb over 120 spots on the Points List, from 150th all the way to No. 29.

Luke Brown (Pro V1x) delivered a flawless performance during Friday’s final round, closing in 8-under 64 to come from behind and secure his second career Sunshine Tour title.
- Brown’s ball-striking was dialed, as he hit a perfect 18-for-18 greens in regulation to help close out the two-shot win.
- For the week, Brown made 21 birdies and an eagle while posting rounds of 67-66-64.
- In total, 97 competitors teed up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball (78%), more than three times the nearest competitor (25).

This week at the 126th U.S. Women’s Amateur, Titleist was the overwhelming #1 ball across the elite field — just as it was at top amateur events this year like the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, NCAA D1 Women’s Championship and U.S. Girls’ Junior Amateur.
- In total, 116 competitors teed up a Titleist (74%) at The Honors Course, more than seven times the nearest competitor (16).
- Titleist drivers (35%), iron sets (29%) and Vokey gap, sand and lob wedges (42%) were also the top choices of the elite amateur field for the week in Tennessee.
