The Players' Choice: What's in the Bag at the 2019 Travelers Championship

After a historic U.S. Open — and an exhibition of #MajorProof —  the PGA Tour has made its way to Cromwell, CT for the 2019 Travelers Championship. One hundred-fifty-six players are competing at TPC River Highlands, just one month before the final major of the year.

#1 Ball
Titleist is once again the most popular golf ball choice among players at the Travelers Championship,Graphic showing that Titleistis the overwhelming golf ball choice among players at the 2019 Memorial Tournamentwith 74% of players (116) in the 156-man field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, over six times more than the nearest competitor with 19 players and more than all other competitor brand golf balls combined.

#1 Driver
For the 21st time this season, continuing a trend of player trust and validation,
Titleist is the #1 choice in the driver category at the Travelers Championship, with 50 Titleist models in play. Of those Titleist drivers, 43 were TS models (TS2 - 9 | TS3 - 30 | TS4 - 4).

Titleist is also the #1 choice among players in fairway metals (134), hybrids (24), utility irons (32) and irons (45). Many players in the field have also elected to put the new T100's, 620 MB's and 620 CB's in the bag for the Travelers Championship, including Patton Kizzire, Richy Werenski, Morgan Hoffmann, Sung-Jae Im, Michael Kim, Charley Hoffman, Bud Cauley, Denny McCarthy, Peter Uihlein, Joey Garber, Ryan Blaum, Matt Jones and Scott Stallings.

Vokey Design Wedges also topped the approach, sand and lob wedge category with 225 Vokey models in play.

In addition, 40 players this week are trusting one golf brand, Titleist, from tee-to-green, throughout the entire bag — a vote of confidence that speaks volumes about the performance, consistency and quality of Titleist equipment throughout every club category.

As we get ready for an exciting week of golf in Connecticut, let's take a look at the equipment that a few of these Titleist Brand Ambassadors will be relying on for the Travelers Championship.
