It's not every year that I have a jammed tee sheet in late November! Were you able to get out and enjoy a round over the holiday weekend?

Played Friday and the course was fully booked. Course manager said he turned away 30 people who called in trying to book 4-somes.
  3. Absolutely loving the mid 50's temperatures here in VA. Got out Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Hoping for a mild and dry winter...and being a teacher you know we really like snow days. But I'd rather have a day of golf instead of a snow day.

Yup! Played Saturday at the Ledges in Maine. Booked early in the week and got a 10 a.m. tee time. PERFECT weather all day long! Wish i could say the same about my game :) I was just happy to be out there and playing. Conditions were great and had a blast...

Wednesday was great weather and golf. Went back on Friday, had a 5-some in front of us and 6-some in front of them. After a 2.5 hour front nine, I couldn't take the thought of another 2.5 hours on the back and we left.
  7. Got on no problem at my CC. Steady traffic, not crowded at all. 60 degrees and beautiful. It was a great few days for golf in SC. Where are you at Corby?
  8. After thanksgiving day golf here in Sioux Falls South Dakota is not normal. Most courses have closed for the season, but a few are still open. We played Sunday, and had a great time. Feels like we are cheating mother nature.

Walked 9 holes every afternoon (in shorts!) during the break. Back to weekends only now that work stands in the way. That's the bad part about being in San Diego, looking out the window on a beautiful day and knowing it will be dark by the time you get off work.

Not feeling so sorry for myself then the Mass. with Speedy in Maine, (Ledges, great course), and Chuck O in Dakota. We'd have turned away folks Saturday had it not been for some no shows.
  11. Ledges is a great course, played there before a good friends wedding; hidden gem for sure! Played twice in CT after thanksgiving (very unusual) and then twice in FL last week; I think it’s safe to say my ‘regular’ season is over but felt good to get out 4 times after thanksgiving. Very jealous of friends who live in AZ that get to play year round.
