    Hey Guy´s

    I have one litte question. I have got fitted to new set of Titleist 917F2 and 816H1 with both Tour AD DI 70 stiff flex and Tour AD DI 85 stiff flex Hybrid Shaft.

    Is the Tour AD DI the extra Money worth???

    Of course it is a matter of personal opinion...But I play the AD DI 6 in my Driver and the 7 in my 3w and I love the feel and ball flight!

    if you can afford the tour ad shaft it's worth it, great shaft. however, if you are uncomfortable spending that kind of money on a shaft, there are quality shafts for a fraction of that price.

    Hey,

    I hit a M1 3 wood with a AD, then hit a 915 F with an Aldila Rogue70. I ended up going with the 915. Wasn't due to price, just the shaft suited my swing better.

    If I was in your shoes though, and had a fitter say you hit best with that shaft, I'd pay a little extra.

    I can't say, because I went with the standard shafts based on my fittings. Aldila Rogue Black 85H in the 816H1 and Aldila Rogue MAX 75 in the 917f3. Titleist has such an array of standard shafts there was no need for an upgrade for me. The Titleist Thursdays saved me some bucks. We never tried other shafts and I never inquired because my results were so good.

    I understand your concerns. I play the AD BB in bother my driver and 3 wood and love them. But in a hybrid? I don't think I hit my hybrid enough per round to justify the cost.. that's just me!

    They are great shafts, I use them in my C-16 driver, 917 3 & 5 woods and my 816H1 hybrid. That being said, they are expensive. You could ask your fitted to compare your numbers, or ball flight and feel, with the DI shafts as well as either a "no upcharge" shaft. If you can find something else that works then maybe you could save a dollar of two.

    In the 3 Wood, the Tour AD DI gave me really constant Numbers and will take it. But in the Hybrid the Aldila Tour Blue and the Blueboard s+82 gave me very decent numbers too.
