Just wanted to share my experience of my Total fitness evaluation and complete club fitting at TPI in Oceanside. In one word. "Amazing!" What a day. I arrived at 8:30 am and finished at 4:30 pm. I urge everyone to participate in these unbelievable experiences that the great people at Titleist allow all of us around the world.

I was greeted by master fitter, Dino, in the parking lot. Dino took my bag and walked me inside where i saw Mike who handles the Titleist club professional accounts and Andy Dobson who co-ordinated my entire day at TPI.

I was shown my personalized locker and changed into my workout clothes for the fitness evaluation. So much info that I'm still trying to assimilate it all. David, my fitness evaluator, was amazing. He explained everything slowly, in detail and in layman's terms so I could understand everything, and answered my myriad of constant questions throughout the morning.

I experienced first hand things I was deficient in. Things I needed to work on. And also things I was doing right and excelling in. We then went to the range where I warmed up and hit and was given more instruction by David. After warming up, David took me into the hitting bay where I was hooked up by the best in 3D computer image capture technology and analyzed my swing, posture, body position and numerous other things that blew my mind. The computer showed conclusively the inconsistencies in every part of my swing (but also things I was doing right). David then took me back in the TPI gym and showed me some exercises to enhance my mind and body and some great golf related stretches and exercises.

I didn't want to take a break for lunch, but knew that I should as I was going to have another four hours with Dino outside in the club fitting.

I quickly ate and came back early so I could go on the professional grade practice putting green and try out all of Scotty's new creations. Wow. I've had a chance to roll them before, but now that I had some relaxed alone time before my fitting, I found yet another Cameron Masterpiece that I will add to my growing collection!

Dino then took me out on the range. It was just us and it was glorious. Hitting brand new PROV's is like a trip to heaven. Dino dialed me in from top to bottom. Explaining the whats, whys and reasons I'm doing what I'm doing and what he's doing to ensure the Complete club fitting of metals, irons and wedges.

As an added bonus, Dino gave me some professional pointers that instantly improved my game. He didn't have to say or do anything extra, but being the best fitter in the business, Dino went the extra yard to fit me not only for clubs, but many other aspects of the game that i can't wait to incorporate. Dino's talent is so vast and far reaching, he has no idea the amount of insight, experience and class he brings to the Titleist experience at TPI. Anyone can fit you for clubs. But being fit for the mind and body and instilling complete, unwavering confidence is something that money just cannot buy.

Thanks to everyone at #TeamTitleist who have helped, encouraged and supported me over the years. Cathi, Mike D., Rick, Chris, Abby, Spencer, Liz, Mike at TPI, Andy D., Bubba, Brice, Will, David at TPI and of course, Dino.

Also, all my wonderful friends and fellow #TeamTitleist members. This is the greatest community and I'm greatly looking forward to all our years, good times and #TeamTitleist experiences and events coming up soon!

P.S. Here are a few photos from my amazing day! Thanks again!

Wow. I am envious. (The nice way to put it) What a great experience! I hope to be able to do that some day soon, Oceanside is not that far away. As a new poster but years old lurker on TT I am impressed by this community of people with a true love of the game (and without the trolling and all that jazz you can get on the other forums)
Thanks so much for the details of the day.

Thank you also for sharing....??? What was the point of bringing you current sticks? I live in the DC area and I'm seriously thinking about signing up, but just curious.

Wow!! What a fantastic experience and day.

I definitely have that on my list to do. Hopefully sooner than later, as I'm not getting any younger. Ha

Thanks for sharing it with us, and I agree 100% about the #TT Staff and community.

robert t, the reason you bring your current clubs to the fitting is for the fitter to see what you're currently doing and improve and expand on it. Compare and contrast. If you have a chance, you should definitely head over to TPI in Oceanside. Also, get a putter fitting in Encinitas, CA from the Cameron Gallery. I've done that and it's amazing.
  8. Great experience. I'm hoping one day to be able to do this experience but in the meantime I'm probably going to do just an iron fitting.
