Any chance of a 917 D4? Would hate to purchase a 917 D3 and six months later a D4 arrives.

Hi Michael, We would encourage you to try the D3 as well as the D2 driver. In our product testing on tour (and with consumers), Tour players that were gaming the D4 have found the new 917 D3 or D2 gave them the proper spin and the performance they were looking for. All of our D4 players on the PGA tour made the switch to D3 or D2. Because the new heads provides lower spin, as well as new fitting options, you may find that you can be optimally fit into a D3.

That being said, we are always working with the Tour as well as our consumers to test and validate new equipment.

    Hi Cathi,
I did the Demo Day on the 17th, and loved the new look, sound, and feel of the 917 D3, but the numbers were virtually identical to my current 915 D3. The fitter had a 915 D4, and when we tried that, I saw the best numbers. I really hope you come out with a 917 D4, because I would buy it in an instant!

Michael and Jason I agree with both of you. I would love to get a D4 head in the 917 driver or whichever is the next driver to come out, because my ball flight balloons in the air so freakishly high it's ridiculous, and I need the lowest spinning head and shaft options I can get because not only am I playing with a shaft that isn't for me, at least that's what I think, my swing speed is so ridiculously high, I need the D4 which I have seen and heard is the lowest spinning head available. thanks for all those posts
