  1. Had the pleasure of trying new AVX Golf ball. Really impressed! I have played both ProV1 and V1x. The AVX is pure. Great feel around greens and significant pop off of club face. Great shot shapping capability with the performance via my spin rate and ball flight. I will switch once they are available in KS. I'll test for you if you contact me and give more extensive market feedback from a state line tour player. Thank you!

  2. Most folks seem to be loving the AVX. Hoping to get a dozen online and try them out soon! Issue is, if I really like them I don't want to deal with scarce supply (being in a no AVX state). Might be best to wait and see what happens.

Glad you liked them. I am kind of on-the-fence as they seem to produce a little lower ball flight than i like off the tee but short irons, pitches, chips, and putts are great. Can't argue with the one that went into the hole off the 7 iron the third time i played them.

All of you that have had the chance to try out the AVX are killing me...haven't been able to find any course or store with them in the St Louis area.

I picked up a dozen AVX'S last Saturday at a golf specialty shop in Cincinnati so they are becoming available.
Just haven't got to try them yet because it is now snowing everyday.

Tried the ball yesterday....I'll stick with the NXT for my game. A little cheaper and works just as well. The NXT flies higher and feels almost as soft. If I'm going to spend that amount I'll just get the ProV1x.
  7. Yesterday I was able to pick up a few sleeves at my local country club here in North Carolina. It has been pretty cold for a few days so I am excited to see how they play when it warms up. I played a few holes today with some buddies and put the new AVX in play. So far I think that it plays very similar to the ProV1 and ProV1x. It seems almost like a twin brother. They have a pretty penetrating ball flight, and have a pretty soft feel off the clubface with long and short shots. I look forward to playing around with them more in the coming days!

I am lucky enough to be able to get these out here in CA, and I have to say, I love the ball. I like the soft feel but most of all, it seems to be really consistent off the irons whether its out of the middle or I catch the toe. I have been experimenting with a lot of balls lately but this one is a must try if you can get your hands on them.

Surprised to hear they were available in Ohio and NC. Thought I read somewhere they were going to be limited to AZ and Fla as test markets.

I recently came across the AVX at Tam O'Shanter in Hermitage, PA. The balls are available in both white and yellow. I am probably thinking that they were possibly the result of the sleeves of test balls we received last year. Today I bought a box of white and a box of yellow. Looking forward to playing these in 2018!

Just found some in my Pro Shop in South Carolina. Tried them and THEY ARE OUTSTANDING! Good spin, flight and distance control on full swings and on the all important short shots. Played in 50 degree weather with 12 - 15 mph wind. Can't wait to try them on a warm day!
  12. Played the new avx ball it has great feel. I'm a pro v1x player. The move to the avx would be a step up to better golf for me. Wish it was available in Texas now.
