Been playing the ProV1x but decided to try the DT TruSoft and I think the folks at Titleist have designed a real winner for the price. This ball has some impressive stopping ability and great feel around the greens. It's no slouch off the tee and maintains a nice appearance with it's durable cover. Bravo Titleist!

I agree. I played a round of golf this morning with the DT TruSoft and I feel like there is little distance sacrificed off the tee, but a great soft feel when getting on the green. Also with low temps, I feel like the softer cover gives me more feel than other balls. I also like the yellow option.

Couldn't agree more! I thought I'd give the DT TruSoft a try a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised .. now it's my go to golf ball.

I have also enjoyed playing a yellow TruSoft when the temps are in the 30s and 40s. Just feels better off the clubface. No noticeable loss of distance between it and my Pro V1 in those temps. At this time of year, the conditions where I play are not so perfect that you'll be able to see much difference between the TruSoft and ProV around the greens. Plus, the yellow color is much easier to follow in the flat light of winter.

However, on those rare winter days when the temps get up in the mid 50s or higher, my Pro V1 is back on the tee.

Normally play Prov1, but during the colder months in the south, I pick up a dozen yellow DT Trusoft. The lower compression ball is great during the winter.

I have to agree, being a ProV1x player I looked for something a bit softer when it got cold and the TruSoft fit the bill. The only thing I didn't like was the feel with the putter, guess I need to work on chipping it in.

I do like the TruSoft ball. But I really like the feel of the ProV1x. Has a good click to it and I like the distance off the tee and how it checks up on the green. Guys make a comment on how quickly it checks up. So yes it is a good ball, but for me, I like the ProV1x. Have to have no doubts when I play!

I usually play the yellow DT Solo/TruSoft ball in the winter and the yellow NXT Tour S when it warms up in the Spring and through golf season during the summer.

Getting cold again his weekend. Always play the ProV1x but after reading the reviews, think I'll give the TruSoft a go this weekend.

    Huddersfield,

I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but there was something about the DT Trusoft that I wasn't sure about, so I've gone back to my current ball of choice the NXT Tour S
