Replacing a 2014 Newport 2.5 shaft

  1. Is the only way to get a new shaft put in my Newport 2.5 is to send it to Scotty's custom shop? Or can I buy one direct from them to install myself?

    If I remember correctly, you can't buy one from the Custom Shop directly...you might want to try EBay unfortunately....
  3. Thank you. From everything I've read there seems to be a debate on whether the shaft is a .382 flare tip or if they switched to .395 after 2012.
  4. I would send it back to the SC Custom Shop to ensure the work is done correctly...as well as to double check after the new shaft is installed that the loft and lie is correct. It is not very expensive...$50 plus you get a discount on a new grip!

    The Golfworks in Newark OH should be able to match what you need if you don't want to send it in for reshaft.
