I currently game a SM5 52-12 F grind (bent to 51-11). I've been thinking about upgrading to the SM6 with the same loft, bounce and grind (also will bend to 51-11) because of the CG variations of the SM6. Besides using this club for the appropriate yardage full shot, I also use it for chips/ short pitches around the green. My question is something like this, does the lower CG in the SM6 help get the ball to pop up a little higher for these shorter shots than the SM5 I currently use? Thanks for any info.
