I was just wondering if Titleist is planning on putting out a ProV1 and ProV1x in yellow.  It seems like most of the other manufacturers are putting a tour grade ball on the market in yellow and I'm wondering if Titleist is going to follow suit?  Does anyone have any thoughts on the recent popularity surge in the yellow ball lately?  If Titleist put the ProV line on the market would you buy/use it?

Me personally I don't think that they should. Its just a fad but if it generates more money they might just do it. Steve H.

I would love to see a yellow PRO v 1x. Same yellow as you currently put into the NXT S.

I have a number of friends who are using the Titleist NXT in Yellow. I do have to admit that it might be my age, but I do find the yellow ball a lot easier to follow in flight. Alas - I am still hooked on the ProV1x so I will have to wait until....

I'm the same way.   Love my ProV1 but at the same time I find the yellow easier to follow but.... I won't give up the PROV1 just to play a yellow ball!  I think a Yellow ProV1/1X would sell.....

Would definitely give them a try!

  7. I would definitely use a yellow ProV1. It would stop me having to use other manufacturers' (I won't mention names) yellow tour balls for the evening rounds of 9 I play quite often.

    Hi Stephen,
Thanks to you and everyone else on this thread for bringing up a great thought/question.

There are no plans right now to release Pro V1 or Pro V1x in yellow.  Here are a few reason why...

First, as always, we consult both the tour and our loyal brand fans as we develop ideas and concepts for new products.  In both cases, our results showed a few years back that it was best to release a Yellow golf ball in the NXT Tour S segment.  With that said, we continue to collect data on the demand for yellow product each and every year and review accordingly.

As it relates to 'tour grade' yellow product.  While NXT Tour S Yellow isn't necessarily played on tour each and every week, it performs very favorably vs some other competitive tour played product that is.

Thanks again for your wonderful feedback that we will continue to consider as we develop new golf balls going forward.

    Cheers,
    Mitch D

I've wondered about this possibility as well. Between getting older and diabetic eyes I do have a tendency to lose track. Not so much flight but once it lands.
