As the country's top amateurs gather at Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK, and compete for the coveted national championship, 264 players, or 85 percent of the field of 312, made Titleist their overwhelming #1 golf ball choice.  That is compared to just 23 players, or more than 11 times, the nearest competitor.  The U.S. Amateur continued the golf ball momentum Titleist has enjoyed on the 2009 PGA Tour and across all of the worldwide professional tours, to the the PGA Professional National Championship, and at every level of competitive amateur golf.

In addition to being the top choice in golf balls at the U.S. Amateur, Titleist was the tee-to-green favorite across every major golf club category.  From drivers, fairway metals and hybrids, to iron sets, wedges and putters, no less than 40 percent of the field in any major equipment category placed their trust in the superior performance and consistency of Titleist equipment at one of the most prestigious individual events in amateur golf.
