Nine Titleist Brand Ambassadors Head to Tour Championship

Titleist golf clubs well represented at season-ending Tour event

As the 2006 PGA Tour schedule comes to a close at The Tour Championship presented by Coca-Cola, the Titleist tradition of success continues among the top players on Tour.

Led by Adam Scott, the fourth-ranked player in the Official World Golf Ranking, nine Titleist brand ambassadors have finished among the top 30 money leaders on the PGA Tour to qualify for The Tour Championship. Other Titleist brand ambassadors joining Scott in Atlanta are Davis Love III, Brett Quigley, Lucas Glover, Arron Oberholser, Zach Johnson, Ernie Els, Ben Curtis, and Tom Pernice, Jr.

Largely through the leadership of Titleist brand ambassadors, Titleist golf clubs are expected to be in the bags of many of the 27 players who confirmed to play in The Tour Championship. Titleist drivers, including the Pro Titanium 905R, the number one 460cc driver on the 2006 PGA Tour, Titleist irons, including the new 755 irons, Titleist Vokey Design wedges, and Scotty Cameron by Titleist putters should all fare well in their respective categories when final equipment counts are released. (Actual equipment counts in each category will be updated on Golf Club Leaderboard after the event.)

Titleist golf clubs have also enjoyed tremendous success related to overall Tour usage in 2006. For the year, Titleist finished in the top spot in the iron, wedge, and putter categories with respective usage rates of 22%, 37%, and 37%.
