Titleist also was the choice of Nissan Irish Open champion Stephen Dodd in a playoff, as well as D.A. Weibring at the Bruno's Memorial Classic and Nationwide Tour winner Chad Collins at the Henrico County Open. Perry topped a leaderboard that included 4 Titleist players among the top 5 finishers, including runner-up Billy Mayfair (Pro V1x), as well as Joe Durant (Pro V1x) and David Toms (Pro V1) who finished among a three-way tie for third.

Mayfair also trusted his Titleist Pro Trajectory 904F 3-wood, Titleist Forged 804OS irons (2-P) and Vokey Design sand and lob wedges to lead the tournament in Greens in Regulation at 81.9% (59 of 72).
Perry's win is the 10th by a Titleist player on the 2005 PGA Tour, more than twice the nearest competitor.
Titleist topped the golf ball count with 78 players in the field compared to 15 for the nearest competitor. Titleist also was the top choice in iron sets, utility irons, wedges and putters.

LPGA TOUR: At 18 years old, the Sybase Big Apple Classic winner became the second youngest player (and the youngest since 1952) to win on the LPGA Tour. Relying upon the Pro V1x golf ball, she converted a 17-foot birdie putt on the final hole to edge Jeong Jang (Pro V1) and Gloria Park (Pro V1x) by one shot, giving Titleist players a 1-2-3 finish. Nearly five times as many players relied upon Titleist (109) golf balls than the nearest competitor (22).

NATIONWIDE TOUR: Pro V1 player Chad Collins shot a final round 5-under 67 to win the Henrico County Open by two shots over Pro V1x player Tom Scherrer. It marked the first career Nationwide Tour title for Collins who finished at 21-under 267. Pro V1 player Dicky Pride shot a final round 10-under par 62 to join Jon Mills (Pro V1x), Bill Lunde (Pro V1x) and Ken Duke (Pro V1) in a four-way tie for third at 18-under 270, as Titleist players owned the first six positions on the leaderboard. More than seven times as many players relied upon Titleist golf balls (106) than the nearest competitor (15).
ASIAN TOUR: The Pro V1 was the choice of champion Adam Le Vesconte in his victory at the Philippine Open. Le Vesconte closed with a 7-under par 64 for a winning total of 12-under 272 and a four-stroke margin of victory.
