The Titleist Fitting Network

National Fitting Centre

Complementing our network of FittingWorks partners, Canada’s Titleist National Fitting Centre offers comprehensive high level fittings. Our expert Titleist FittingWorks staff is equipped with a launch monitor and expansive range of fitting clubs to allow each golfer to be prescribed the correct club models and personalized set specifications for optimum performance.

Our National Fitting Centre offers two fitting session formats:

Driver/Long Game Fitting Session

Duration 1.5 hours

Driver Fitting
A Driver/Long Game Fitting Session begins with a driver fitting aimed at optimizing driving performance for both distance and accuracy. The fitter will work with the player to determine which Titleist 910 driver helps the player achieve ideal launch conditions. Launch conditions, which are affected by changing equipment specifications, consist of ball speed, launch angle, back spin, and side spin. The fitter will test and analyze the player's launch conditions using state of the art launch monitor technology and an unmatched selection of Titleist SureFit fitting drivers to recommend the proper model, loft, shaft, shaft flex and shaft length for the player.

For more on the methodology used to fit players for drivers, please see our Driver Fitting Methodology article.

Long Game Fitting
A Driver/Long Game Fitting also includes a long game fairway & hybrid fitting to provide the player with the proper combination of 910 fairway woods, 910H utility clubs, and long irons that promote playable trajectories at preferred yardage gaps. More than a simple fairway metal fitting, the long game fitting optimizes the 3-wood, establishes the most playable long iron, and provides key knowledge of carry distances, trajectory, and ball stopping ability required to attack par-5s, long par-4s and difficult par-3s for lower scores. In addition, the long game fitting will improve a player’s course management skills by providing better knowledge and understanding of proper club selection.

For more on the methodology used during a long game fitting, please see our Long Game Fitting Methodology article.

Iron/Short Game Fitting Session

Duration: 1.5 hours

Iron Fitting
An Iron/Short Game Fitting Sessions begins with an iron fitting that will provide the player with the best Titleist 712 iron model and custom club specifications to increase performance through accuracy, shot making ability, and distance control. The fitter will test the player’s iron launch conditions using launch monitor technology and an array of SureFit fitting clubs to identify the best Titleist model, and then dynamically fit for length, lie angle, shaft type, shaft flex, grip type, and grip size custom specifications. The fitter will then review which clubs are selected and discuss the recommendations to educate the player on the club specifications chosen.

For more on the methodology used during an iron fitting, please see our Iron Fitting Methodology article.

Wedge Fitting
An Iron/Short Game Fitting Session also includes a wedge fitting portion that will provide the best combination of Titleist Vokey Design wedges for optimum short game performance and yardage gaps. Vokey Design wedges are #1 on the PGA Tour because of Master Craftsman Bob Vokey’s commitment to wedge fitting through a unique understanding of players’ needs. His efforts allow all players to take full advantage of their wedge play through better feel and added confidence from every turf and sand condition. Wedge fitting will match loft, bounce, sole design, and club face spin characteristics with a player’s swing technique. Consistent yardage gaps combined with optimal control and spin allow players to better capitalize on scoring opportunities with their wedges.

Golf Ball Fitting

Driver/Long Game and Iron/Short Game Fitting Sessions include a Titleist Golf Ball Fitting to determine the proper Titleist golf ball model to help the player shoot lower scores.
